Technology of national defense and industrial service in strengthening armed force was emphasized with resilience of industrial and supply chains to be enhanced.

*Netherlands confirms it will restrict ASML export regarding “very specific technologies in the semiconductor production cycle.”

*Physicist Ranga Dias leading a research team at the University of Rocherster report a new material that superconducts at room temperature.

*CPCAAUTO: retail sales of passenger vehicles in Feb up 10.4% y/y with NEV retail sales reached 439k units, up 61% y/y and up 32.8% m/m. Tesla delivers 74,402 China-made cars, up 13% m/m.

*Guangzhou local government issued development plan 2022-2025 in construction of international consumption center which said to expand automobile consumption with full replacement of public transportations and taxis to NEV promoted. Penetration of government-use and private vehicles to be improved in an orderly manner.

*CATL said on the interactive platform that co is promoting industrialization of sodium-ion batteries in 2023 with massive production of Kirin batteries expects to be realized in 23Q1.

*Vanke held EGM on March 8th and as mentioned by its board secretary that cash dividend to be distributed in coming 3 years will be no lower than 30% of attributable profit realized in that year and likely to be maintained around 35%.

*Dongfeng-Hongda offered time-limited subsidies on partial vehicle types in Hebei province at maximum discount of cny 70k during March 1st to 31st for stock liquidation.

* Global crude oil price closed down collectively. April NYMEX crude oil contract down 1.42% to closed at $76.48/b, May Brent contract down 0.96% to closed at $82.49/b. INE crude oil active contract down 2.13% to 561.0 yuan/b.

* Precious metals closed down collectively. COMEX gold contract down 0.1% to closed at $1818.1/oz. SHFE gold active contract down 0.44% to closed at 413.68 yuan/gram.

* Metals closed up mostly, LME copper up 1.1%, LME zinc up 071%, LME aluminum up 0.51%, LME tin down 2.37%, LME nickel down 0.91%. Bonded copper up 1.11%, SHFE copper up 0.96%, SHFE tin down 1.20%.
